Automotive Program Ribbon Cutting

Overview

Leon County Schools (LCS) is proud to announce the expansion of the district’s career technical education initiative with the addition of an automotive facility on Lincoln High School’s campus. LCS partnered with Lively Technical College (LTC) using the Florida Department of Education’s Get There Faster Career Dual Enrollment Pathways Expansion Grant to build this new automotive facility and purchase the needed equipment. This program helps prepares students for careers in the automotive industry through career dual enrollment in the LTC’s Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair Technician program. Lincoln is proud to have 107 students currently enrolled in the automotive program.

Please join us for an official ribbon cutting of the new facility on Thursday, October 6th at 10:30 a.m.

All visitors are asked to sign in with the administration office and will be directed to the new facility.
