The Teacher Assisting Training Program is designed to address the needs of substitute teachers at any level. The rise in the number of teacher absences has caused increasing attention to be given to the role, function, and professional qualifications of the hundreds of substitute teachers who work in Leon County. Successful teachers are those who have either consciously, or subconsciously, developed the skills that make them effective in the classroom. In other words, by learning certain skills, techniques, and methods, you can be a successful teacher assistant.
