Scholarships at Lively Technical College
Scholarships at Lively Technical College
Lively Technical College, founded in 1937 by Lewis M. Lively, continues his legacy by offering educational opportunities to individuals in Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla counties. To support students in their career journeys, Lively Tech offers the Emily Lively Scholarship, named in honor of Lewis Lively’s daughter, who shared his passion for education.
The Emily Lively Scholarship aims to assist individuals absent from the labor market for an extended period, helping them start anew. The scholarship covers tuition, fees, and books, with awards based on financial need, initiative, and attitude determined by the class instructor.
To apply, students must:
- Demonstrate financial need and complete the FAFSA online at https://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Submit a brief essay explaining their intended contribution after program completion.
Scholarships are awarded each semester, and a new application is required for continued eligibility.
Business owners and partners interested in supporting our scholarship program can significantly impact students’ lives. Please contact Lanisha Wetherington at wetheringtonl@leonschools.net to learn more.
